Baby's First Christmas

So we survived Logan's first Christmas! It was crazy, hectic, and even scary at times but we did survive!

On Saturday went to Panguitch for Dave's mom's family annual Christmas party and had a good time there. Last year there were I think two babies in attendance. This year? Eight. Yep, eight babies from 2 months to 2 years. It was a little hectic. The party was really well-attended this year and we ate the traditional Mexican food feast and mingled. As everyone was getting ready to leave we got all the babies and put them on a couch for a picture together. It maybe wasn't the best idea, even though it will be a fun picture later on. All of us moms stood there together and basically threw our kids on the couch and stepped away quick so the picture could be taken. Logan was sitting next to two of the older babies and the one on his left side was trying to push him off the couch and the one on his right was screaming because Logan's hand was on his leg. I can't wait to see the picture...

On Sunday we went to my Aunt Jean's house to have a small dinner and hang out together. My cousin Kelly and Aunt Jean both got Logan way cute outfits. Kelly got him little bug shoes and he would rather eat them than wear them!
Monday night we went down to my parent's house and had our annual Christmas Eve dinner. We opened presents and went driving around looking at lights. Dave, Logan, and I headed up right after our little drive and as soon as we got to the top of the Black Ridge the freeway became a sheet of ice! We saw a truck and trailer in the median flipped over and right before we got to Cedar watched a truck go off the road right in front of us. Thank goodness Dave is experienced in driving in snow and ice. I was so scared!
Christmas Day we were up about 6:30 or so and gave Logan his present and let him open it, he even liked watching us open our gifts too. I made cinnamon rolls (from a can of course!) for breakfast and Logan sat in his new high chair and "ate" a banana. We just hung out the whole day and relaxed. Logan got spoiled by all his family and I don't know about Dave, but I definitely felt spoiled by him. Now that's Christmas!

Hey Kim... Happy Holidays! Your blog is way cute. Where did you find such a cute template? I've only found the standard ones? Just curious. Your cute little son is growing up so fast... He's adorable.

I love the picture where Logan is watching you open your present. He honestly looks so excited to be watching you unwrap your gift! I think it's absolutely adorable! I would definitely be excited to see the picture of all 8 babies on the couch! I'm sure it will be hilarious! I'm glad you and your family had a fun Christmas!
