This is definitely one of the funnest stages though. You are pretty easy to please for the most part and we are always saying what an easy going kid you are. That's not to say you don't have your fits when Logan takes a toy away or you don't get what you want. We've definitely seen your temper come out a little bit. You clench your little fists and grunt at us when we tick you off.
The weather has been spring-like off and on for the last few weeks and we have been able to get out of the house and go for walks or down to the park. Your dad even let you ride around the front yard on the 4-wheeler one day after he and Logan got home from a ride.

You are such a small little thing - at your 9 month appointment you weighed 17 pounds even (19%), were 27.5 inches tall (49%) and your head was 18 inches (91%). You continue to be the opposite of Logan who was in the 90's in everything but his head which was usually in the teens. The doctor still isn't worried but if you don't start eating something other than fruit and toast we're going to be in trouble.
You can get anywhere you want to and that usually means crawling under the table and chairs until you stand up, hit your head, and start to cry or heading for the bathroom before somebody beats you to it and shuts the door - also making you cry. You can stand up and push your car around the floor but you do it on your tip toes and your feet are so far behind the rest of you it looks like you are going to fall flat on your face any minute.
Another one of your favorite spots is by the computer where you pull down every paper, cord, book, etc., before moving on to the nearby diaper basket which you then proceed to empty by throwing diapers as far as you can. I guess as long as it keeps you busy I shouldn't complain.

I recently discovered a new addiction - craft blogs. It all started when I got the courage to make a dress for you and it worked out. Now I'm addicted looking at blogs with tons of things I want to make for you. Here you are trying on the dress I made for your cousin Ava and an enormous flower headband. Normally I am not a fan of those things but I wanted to see if I could make the flower and that's how it turned out. Pretty ridiculous huh? I should probably put more bows in your hair or actually do more with it than just mohawk it into a curl but that's just not my style. Simplify - that's my style.

This last month you have really gotten good at saying momma and dada. In fact today in church your dad and I were sitting on the stand because we had to give talks and during the opening prayer I had to laugh because all I could hear was a little girl in the congregation saying "Ma ma ma ma ma ma ma." I forgot how cute those first few words sound.
Logan just spent 2 nights with Grandma and Grandpa Veater and honestly, I think the person he was most excited to see was you. That boy couldn't stop loving on you. Your cousin Quade thinks you are pretty fun too - I just love the way he says "HI, Tes-SA!" every time he sees you. Your dad and are think that you might be getting close to or even actually walking by Easter which is something to look forward to in the next month. I can't wait to see what kind of damage you will do to Logan when you start being able to actually chase him - and eventually talk back!
Love you Lindy-Lou,
Mom

She sure is a cutie pie. I love the flower. I haven't seen the temper side of her. Love you Tessa girl.
I can't wait to see how much she turns out like you! I have to say, I have only seen a few fits, but I can't say I have seen a temper tantrum yet! I love the dress, and the ridiculously ginormous flower. Tessa, you are a beautiful girl! Love ya tons, sweet thing!
