While we were still in the process of moving you decided to put this on your head and walk around running into things for a while. You'd hit a wall and take it off your head so you could see us laugh at you.
You're still learning even if it doesn't seem quite as noticeable as it was at first. You call all horses "Chatzy" after my horse that is at grandma and grandpa H's house. You say "mmmmm" for "moo" any time you see a cow. The two words you probably say the best are cookie and puppy. You LOVE dogs, until you get close to them. (Once we were at grandma and grandpa Veater's house and I was taking you out to see Toby. You were walking along until they started to bark and the sudden noise literally knocked you over into the side of the house. I hope I never forget the look on your face.) You can count a little bit too thanks to the preschool. The other day we had the kids count to two because it was the 2nd of November. After all the kids stopped you went on and said something that sounded like three. Ms. Teresa and I just looked at each other, then down at you and laughed. Keep picking up on that stuff kid! I also love it when you try to talk with your "duck bill" lips all pushed out. I'll have to try to get a picture this month.
Speaking of talking, Logan can get you to say pretty much anything. In fact, Logan can get you to DO pretty much anything. There is definitely a huge case of Monkey See-Monkey Do at our house right now. Just the other day when we were out getting our Christmas tree your dad and I mentioned something about that and right then Logan took a drink of his drink and coughed, so you took a drink of yours and coughed. It was perfect timing. If I'm telling Logan to clean something up or he's telling me he doesn't want to you usually run right over, pick a side, and start pointing fingers and telling whoever is "wrong" off.
You are still a really good sleeper. Most nap times and nights all I have to do is get you your milk, your binky, and your blankie and put you in your crib. It's AWESOME. I know I'm going to have to deal with the blankie and the binky eventually, but for right now I'm enjoying the fact that you are so easy to please. For your naps you have started letting me know when you are ready too either by me asking you and you nodding your head or shaking it, or by just disappearing somewhere and me finding you conked out on the floor.
Once this month we left Logan at preschool so we could run home and get some lunch and then meet him at the park with Ms. Teresa. We had a few extra minutes so I got on the computer to check my email. It had been a few minutes and I hadn't heard from you so I got worried. Normally if you are in the house I hear you jabbering away but you weren't talking. I couldn't find you anywhere and you weren't answering so I started panicking thing somehow someone had come in the LOCKED front door and scooped you up. Then I heard a noise coming from Logan's room. When I got there I still couldn't find you until I looked in the closet. I guess you decided it looked like good enough spot for a nap since you couldn't crawl in your crib on your own. Talk about a heart attack!
I'm so excited for Christmas this year but holy crap kid, I can NOT think of anything to buy you. I'm already down to the stocking stuffers on Logan's Christmas budget but I've barely spent a third of your money. If you don't start telling me what you want, I'm not spending any more of it either! I can't wait to see how much fun it will be with you two this year.
So I guess for now I'll still keep you and try to not waste time dreading your terrible two's. I think maybe I dread it more with you because a) I know what I could be in for and B) you've been such a pleasant kid so far. No matter when the "terribleness" hits I know it is just a part of you growing up and learning to be independent, so it can't be all bad. I just hope you'll keep some of your super silly personality and be nice to "Gogi" (Logan).
Love you sis,
Mom
(I guess I need to stop calling you sis and sissy so much. I was never going to call you Tessy or Sissy but somewhere along the line I got in the habit of Sissy. The other day someone was quizzing you on the people in the room and when they asked you who you were you said Sissy - oops!)
