Baby Tag

1.Where were you when you first found out that you were pregnant? At our duplex in Cedar.


2.Who was with you? Nobody - Dave was still living in Panguitch at the time ;)


3.How did you find out that you were pregnant? Pregnancy test.


4.What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant? Oh Shit.


5.Who was the first person you told? Dave. I called him and asked if his parents were there and when he said they weren't I told him to sit down and I told him. Then he told me he'd call me back. He was freaked.


6.Did you plan to get pregnant? Uh, kind of but maybe not as fast as it happened.


7.Did you tell everyone else right away? Nope, we didn't tell family/friends until I was almost 3 months along.


8.Was everybody happy for you? Two words: First grandchild.


9.Did you go out and celebrate? Dave came over to Cedar the next day to hang out with me but I don't remember if we went out.


10.Did you want to find out the sex? Yes, I didn't want to but Dave talked me into it.


11.What was the sex? Boy.


12.Did anyone throw you a baby shower? Yep, I think I ended up with 3 and I HATE showers.


13.Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew you wouldn't put on your baby? I don't think so...


14.How much weight did you gain? 30.


15.Did you lose all of the weight that you gained? Yeah I was lucky but I doubt I'll be so lucky this time.


16.Did you get any stretch marks? Again, way lucky here.


17.What did you crave the most? Hamburgers and ice cream.


18.Did you crave anything crazy? I always wanted a Symphony chocolate bar too, but that isn't crazy either.


19.Who or what got on your nerves? I got so tired of having feet and other body parts up in my ribs. Other than that I thought I was really good although Dave and Derick would disagree.


20.Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? No, I had to have the Rhogam shot cause of my blood type though.


21.Where and when did you go into labor? At home. I had been taking walks around the neighborhood for weeks and it finally paid off.


22.Did your water break? No, they broke it in the hospital.


23.Who drove you to the hospital? I did. Luckily we lived close and I only had one contraction during the trip and it happened conveniently at a stop sign.


24.Who was in the room when you gave birth? Dave, the doctor and a nurse or two.


25.Did you go early or late? I was 8 days early.


26.How long were you in labor for? About 24 hours I'd say.


27.Did you have any drugs for the pain? Ha! I'd pay that anesthesiologist over again if I had to just for the honor of not feeling a thing. Blessed man.


28.Did you go natural or have a C-section? Natural.


29.What was your first reaction after giving birth? I looked at the Dr. and said "that was surreal". He laughed.


30.How big was the baby? 7 lbs 3 oz, 21 inches


31.Did your husband cry? I don't think so - but I remember he was pretty stunned the next day.


32.What did you name the baby? Logan David.


33.Does his/her name have any significant meaning? Dave liked the name Logan ever since he lived up there and David is after Dave of course and my dad.


34.Did you have any visitors? Yes, lots of family.


35.Did the baby have any complications? Nope, he had vacuum head and a little jaundice but he did really well. He was tongue tied but we didn't know that for almost 9 months.


36.How old is your baby today? Almost 20 months.


37.When is the next one coming? June 5. Or the end of May if I get my way.


38.If you could, would you do it all over again? Yep.
