Miss Molly sent me a picture she found on her phone of you at preschool graduation. She had a better angle than I did, and I just love your face.
And some pictures that I had from your birthday that I think I missed on past letters. This is your "pink" birthday cake. You wanted strawberry cake with strawberry frosting and strawberry ice cream. I talked you into letting me do cream cheese frosting but only if I put strawberries on top.
And opening your birthday presents from the grandparents. We were lucky enough to have Aunt Sylvia, Uncle Dusty, Bosten, and Keston come down too....(Aunt Lisa and Uncle Joe probably would have come, but Brody was born the next day!)
We have had fun at home playing with your birthday presents. Lots of fun artwork has been created together on huge sheets of paper.
And lots of performances just for me. I'm a lucky mom to get to listen to bands, watch dances, and listen to the stories you have made up for your toys.
There have been parades and candy...
Cabin trips and kayaking with grandma and grandpa Hillier...
Family reunions with grandma and grandpa Veater...
(Running your race at the Hatch reunion)
(Light parade with flash so I could see who you were)
(and without flash so we could see how you looked lit up)
Trips to the creek with cousin Quade and Meridee's girls...
And brothers taking pictures with my phone.
We have had LOTS of fun this summer, and you have a just a few more days until you start kindergarten. I'm so excited that you have Mrs. DeMille like Logan did, and I know you will love her and love kindergarten. The last few days I feel like I have seen you look and act older, and it is so fun to see you grow.
Love you sis!
Mom
